No. OpenEar does not provide therapy, counseling, medical or mental health treatment. This is a non-clinical emotional support service, not a licensed healthcare provider or crisis service.

No. Our service doesn’t replace mental health care but can be used alongside therapy or as an alternative when you are looking for someone to talk to and do not need clinical treatment.

OpenEar is for anyone who wants to talk freely and feel supported without being evaluated, diagnosed or analyzed.

No, you can remain completely anonymous and share only what you feel comfortable with. You are never required to share your real name, location, personal details.

No, all sessions are audio only. There is no video, no face to face interaction, no visual contact. You can talk anywhere you feel safe and comfortable.

No. Calls are not recorded, and all the conversations stay private and not saved or stored.

Most calls are up to 60 minutes depending on your selected package. In some cases sessions may be extended by mutual agreement.

You will be connected to a trained, compassionate listener whose role is not to diagnose you or suggest decisions, but to listen with empathy, respect and care. You will always be speaking with a real human, never automated system or bot.

That is totally ok. Silence is ok too. You do not need to prepare anything. You will be met with patience, understanding and no pressure.

Yes. You can pause or end the call at any time, for any reason, without explanations. There are no obligations to continue session or after package ends.
